Veteran’s History Project
The mission of the Veterans History Project is to collect and archive the personal recollections of U.S. wartime veterans to honor their service and share their stories with current and future generations. The Project also collects stories from home front civilians who worked in support of our armed forces.
We at LifeLenz fully endorse this mission. Many of our storykeepers are actively volunteering to conduct interviews to add to the collection. If you would like to help in this effort, please let us know.

Odyssey HealthCare seeks to improve the quality of life for patients facing terminal diagnoses and provide support for their loved ones. At times like these, hospice can make even these most difficult of circumstances a little easier to bear for families. I have worked with hundreds of hospices over the last couple of years providing training for their volunteers to aid in gathering the life stories of their patients for the benefit of the families.
We are proud to call Odyssey a partner in the StoryKeeper effort to help preserve the values and traditions of families all across the USA.

Miriam (MiriClaire) became one of our first members and has been an outstanding contributor and supporter ever since. Publishing dozens of stories and poems she further epitomizes our ideal for a member by reviewing countless stories and poems of other members. Her kind and constructive criticism has helped many members improve the quality of their work. A willingness to help others is a hallmark of this site and Miriam is just that kind of person.

There is freedom inside the box! When we work within confines, we truly unleash our creativity. It sounds impossible, but it’s true. The challenge is to write exactly 100 words in whatever format you choose but tell a story in the process.
