Being young and on your own -- some days are just plain bad. I know hunger. Not famine. But four days with cheese and one soggy meat pie. I know sadness. And sorrow. The kind that makes you sick and fat. And broken hearts. And death. I know fear. And there were two more days that week... I'm not sure what I learned, if anything at all In my giddy state filled with wine and pills to keep the pain away. I know missing home.  | |

Someone once said 'Writing is of infinitely more benefit to the writer than the reader.' Keep writing with that in mind and I believe you'll find your readers will disagree with that statement and feel they've been the ones to benefit.
